Jonathan R. Adron, passed away at his home at Appleton ___evening at 6 o'clock following a long period of failing health. ____Adron has been a resident of this district since 1895(?) and ___the members of his family are well known here. Mr. Adron ___a strong personality and had numerous close friends in his residence here. Born in The Forty, Ontario(?), Canada on February 2, 1841, Adron was just past 92 years of age. He was educated in Canada and came to the United States in 1865, locating at Charles City, Iowa where for several years taught school and later___in the mercantile trade. In 1874, Mr. Adron was married to Miss Josephine Dyke,____their 59 years of happy ___life ended in her death five years ago. They came to Grand Junction in 1895(?) and located on a farm at Appleton. Mr. Adron joined the Methodist church when he was 18 years of age and all his long life____unswerving in his loyalty to___body. He was a strong and a ___member of the republican _____and was intensely interested ____political activities and _____affairs. He was deeply affected a short time ago by the attempted assassination of President Roosevelt, whom he admired and gave his support in spite of his ___political affiliations. Surviving Mr. Adron is his devoted sister, Miss Dora Adron, adopted daughter, Mrs. Annie Frohn, his sister-in-law, Mrs. R. Ottman, five grandchildren all of this city, and several nieces and nephews, who reside ______where. Services will be held at Krohn chapel at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Burial will be beside his wife in the Orchard Mesa cemetery
