The Rev. Rufus Williams, pastor of New Albany Church of God and the Rev. Bill Benninger, pastor of St. John's Presbyterian Church officiated. Burial was in the Leavenworth Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Dr. Temple, a dentist, died from illness Tuesday August 1, 1978, at the Floyd County Memorial Hospital in New Albany. He was a native of Leavenworth and a member of New Albany Church of God.
He is the son of George F. & Ola Coleman Temple, born at Leavenworth on June 30, 1924.
Survivors included his wife, Mrs. Mary June Temple; two sons, Michael Temple, of Eugene, Org., and Thad Temple, of New Albany, three daughters, Mrs. Jan Franklin, of Tempe, Ariz., Julie and Mandy Temple, both of New Albany, and his mother, Mrs. Ola Temple, of New Albany. His father, George Temple, preceded him in death on May 12, 1978.
