ROACH AUGHTMON, AGE 82, BURIED AT HEATH SUNDAY

Roach Aughtman, age 82, died suddenly at his residence on Rt. 6, Andalusia, Saturday morning at 2:00 o'clock.
Funeral services were held from Bethany Baptist Church of Heath Sunday afternoon, with Rev. Jerry Bryant officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. Music was by Mrs. Raymond Hill and Mrs. Jerry Bryant, accompanied by Miss Dot Green.

Survivors are: his wife, Mrs. Donie C. Aughtman, of Rt. 6; 3 daughters, Mrs. Bertha Riley of Rt. 5, Mrs. Lela Mae Butler of Tifton, Ga., and Mrs. Judson Owens of Tifton, Ga.; three sons, Leamon Aughtman of Niagara Falls, N.Y.; Harvey Aughtman and Eli Aughtman, both of Rt. 6, Andalusia; 19 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Nell Blow and Mrs. Pick Ivey of Fla.; four brothers, B. and Hubb Aughtman of Gantt and Will and Dink(Tink) of Andalusia.
