MRS. ARVIL (ETHEL) BUTTS
Funeral services for Mrs. Arvil (Ethel) Butts, 78, of Marshall, a former Sullivan resident, were held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the McMullin Funeral Home in Sullivan. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery near Sullivan.
Mrs. Butts died at 10:45 a.m. Thursday, October 19, at the Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Robinson. She was born in Curlew, IA., and married Arvil Butts Feb. 2, 1918. He died April 22, 1948. She was a member of the Southern Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Doyle (Martha) Hills of Marshall and Mrs. Howard (Barbara) Baker of Champaign; and one brother, Earl Merris of Decatur.
