Mary was born October 6, 1931, in Centerville, IA, the daughter of Rexall Franklin and Velma Leona Brown Dinsmore. She married Zane Larson on September 22, 1951 in Des Moines, IA. He preceded her in death on March 24, 2000.
Mary was employed as a keypunch operator for Iowa Power & Light Company, accounting clerk for the Federal Intermediate Credit Bank of Omaha, bookkeeper for Willard Gillespie Insurance Agency, and secretary for Winter's Architectural Roofing Company, retiring on September 30, 1994. She was an active member and organist at New Hope Church, formerly Moline Gospel Temple, since December, 1970. Mary was also a former member of American Guild of Organists, former member of National Honor Society as a high school student, member and former Chair for Christian Womens Club, changed to Moline, IL Area Morning Connection in 2003.
