Moses married first Martha G. Hunter Wake Co bond issued on Sep 24, 1845. She was the mother of 4 children William Hunter, Emma Elizabeth Bledsoe Foust (1848-1925), John Eaton and Edward. She passed sometime prior to 1860. He married second Donna Maria Holt Oct 16, 1860 with the bond issued in Halifax Co, NC

The 1860 Wake Co census recorded the oldest female in the household as E. B. Bledsoe age 27. In 1850 18 yr old Elisabeth Bledsoe was a member of the Bledsoe family. This writer believe she is his sibling and is E. B. Bledsoe in 1860.

Some researchers believe him to be a descendant of Moses Aaron Bledsoe and most likely is. This researcher's documentation includes Moses, Jr giving his name as Moses Andrew Bledsoe on his WWI draft registration. Moses Andrew Bledsoe 1822-1905 Dictionary of North Carolina Biography. Bledsoe Ave was named in his honor.

The census records indicate he was a man of considerable wealth. Information on the Mars website, documents him as a legislator, lawyer and Chairman of the Bd of the State Insane Asylum. Obits and other family info is also contained within this file.

With additional research in June 2012, this researcher has come to the conclusion that the E. B. Bledsoe age 27 is Elizabeth Brown Bledsoe Busbee buried at the City Cemetery.
