JEFF ABLE, 96, a retired farmer of Earle (and stepfather of EHS classmates), died August 24, 2002 at his home in Earle. Services were August 27 at Roller-Citizens Chapel in West Memphis. Burial was at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion. He was a member of the Earle First Assembly of God Church and the Blackfish Lions Club, and a past member of the St. Francis County Farm Bureau and SFC Farmers Co-op. He was the widower of Clara Lorene Able and the husband of Stella May Forrester Able. He also leaves two stepdaughters; Betty Jo Forrester Smith, classmate of '57, of Jacksonville, FL, and Marie Forrester Almond, of Russellville, AR, classmate of '55 of Cherokee Village, AR; 3 sisters, 3 brothers, 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
