One of three children in the James G. and Marlene Knutson family, Katie embodied all the determination, intelligence, and faith to climb every mountain of life that embodied her fun Irish heritage - Ever keeping her head high and sharing her infectiously beautiful smile!
She dedicated education, health, heart, mind, and soul to raising her three children Jennifer, Mallory, and Chris - Her purest joys in life and each were her favorite in their own right. Katie was active in her children's interests and the community over the years - Some of the examples include a den mother in the Boy Scouts of America, and later volunteering at the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix, Arizona.
Gone too soon but forever young, Katie joined her son Christopher who passed away in 2010 on heaven side. Those missing them here on this side of heaven include her parents, her two brothers James and Thomas, her daughters, her circle of friends and co-workers.
