Charles Cunningham Wiley was born November 25, 1882 in Sewickley Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. He was the seventh of nine children born to Alexander McDonald Wiley Sr and Emily Greenawalt. Charles married Annie May Smith. Charles and Annie Mae had three or four boys: Charles Jr, Davis Paul, and Daniel are mentioned in his obituary. The 1940 Census list Annie Mae's household as: Annie M, Charles, Davis P and Daniel J. My Aunt Emily remembers meeting a son named Jack. Upon Daniel's death, cousin Laura Sutton records the family called Daniel "Ted". This is noted affectionately on his memorial page of Find-a-Grave.

Wiley - Mr Charles C Wiley died Tuesday afternoon at a private sanitarium in the 52nd year of his age. He is survived by his wife, three sons, Charles Jr, Davis Paul and Daniel Wiley; mother, Mrs Emily G Wiley, six brothers, A.M., M.S., J.T., R.R., H.T., and J.W. Wiley; two sisters Mrs A.P. Smith and Mrs C.L. McCain. Funeral and interment will be announced later. J Austin Dillon Co, funeral directors in charge.

Funeral of Charles C Wiley, 52, of 367 Orleans ave, who died Wednesday at a local hospital, will be held at 11 o'clock this morning at the Great Park Baptist church with the Rev H L Atlman officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood cemetery. J Austin Dilion Company is in charge.
