Marine Lance Cpl. Maglione was assigned to BridgeCompany B, 6th Engineer Support Battalion, 4th Force Service Support Group, Folsom, Pa. Killed in non-combat weapon discharge at Camp Coyote, Kuwait. An architectural engineering major at Drexel University in Pennsylvania, Maglione joined the Marine Reserves in 2000 because he wanted to serve his country. He was so proud of being a Marine. He thought the Marines were the best, the bravest. Maglione called home several times to say goodbye before he left. On April 1 - the same day the 22-year-old arrived in Kuwait - Maglione was found dead in his Camp Coyote tent. Marine officials are investigating the incident. Joseph was a real stand-up guy, into rugby and football, the type of guy you knew would end up in the military.
