She was born in Richmond on April 10, 1937, the daughter of Roland E. Sr. and Lillith Holman Lord. She attended Richmond schools and was a lifetime resident of the town.
Ms. Lord was fond of children her entire life and an active member of the Richmond Church of the Nazarene. She was also formerly a member of Post 132, American Legion Auxiliary, Richmond.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Lawrence Lord and Linwood Lord.
She is survived by two brothers, Roland Lord of Richmond and Raymond Lord and his wife, Eleanor Barbara, of Hamden.
Friends and family may visit 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 17, at Brackett Funeral Home, 29 Federal St., Brunswick. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, at the Richmond Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Roger Merrill officiating.
