Mrs. Carrie T. Miller, 88, widow of J. Edward Miller, died early Tuesday morning at the family residence, 620 W. Charles St. She was born in Middletown, Ind., and has lived in Muncie for 57 years.
Mrs. Miller was a member of High Street Methodist Church, active member of the McCrae Club, and a former member of the D. A. R. She became a member of the McCrae Club at the second meeting of that organization in about 1894.
Surviving is a son, Harold T., Chicago. Mr. Miller died in 1948.
Services will be held at the Meeks mortuary 10 a. m. Thursday with the Reverend Newman S. Jeffrey in charge and interment will follow in the family cemetery at Greenville, Ohio.
Friends may call at the mortuary from 2 to 5 and from 7 to 9 p. m. Wednesday.
