J. Edward Miller, 85, widely known Muncie man, died at the family home, 620 W. Charles St., early Wednesday morning following an extended illness. He was born in Gettysburg, Ohio and has been a resident of Muncie for 55 years. Mr. Miller was associated with the Joseph A. Goddard Company for 50 years. He was a member of High Street Methodist Church and T. P. A.
Surviving besides the wife, Carrie T., are a son, Harold T. of Chicago and a sister, Mrs. John Fitzgerald, Anderson.
Services will be held at the Meeks mortuary 10 a. m. Friday with the Reverend Evan H. Bergwall in charge and interment will follow in Greenville, Ohio.
Friends may call at the mortuary after 2 p. m. Thursday.
