NORFOLK - Eunice M. Jenkins, 102, was born in 1905 in Nelson, N.H., and moved to Norfolk in 1925. She went home to be with the Lord Dec. 15, 2007. She was predeceased by her husbands, Anson Armstrong and Ernest Jenkins. She was a former member and pianist of Willoughby Chapel, Norfolk. She always thought of others before herself.
Eunice is survived by three children and their spouses, Alice and Clarence Felts, Harroll and Betty Armstrong and Monica and Douglas Roberts; a daughter-in-law, Dorothy Armstrong; 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Douglas Armstrong, a great-grandchild and a brother.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Ocean View Baptist Church, 9504 Selby Place, Norfolk. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Willoughby Chapel, 777 W. Ocean View Ave., Norfolk, VA 23505. Cremation Society of Virginia, Virginia Beach office, is assisting the family.
