ABBATIELLO, John Joseph, died July 1, 2011. He was born June 10, 1963, in Yonkers, N.Y. John was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Daniel Abbatiello; and brothers, James and Daniel Abbatiello. He is survived by his wife, Estela; and children, Giovanna A. Abbatiello, Danielle M. Abbatiello, Joshua Abbatiello, John J. Abbatiello Jr., Carolyn R. Tamargo and Erika E. Tamargo DeCaito; son-in-law, Sherman P. DeCaito; and grandson, Alexander M. DeCaito; brother, Generoso Abbatiello; and sisters, Geraldine Abbatiello, Margaret Abbatiello and Barbara McBride. John was a former Tampa police officer, Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputy and U.S. Coast Guardsman. John will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched. Funeral services will take place 10 a.m.-noon July 11, 2011, at Florida Mortuary, 4601 N. Nebraska Ave., Tampa. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery located in Bushnell, Fla. www.floridamortuary.net
