He was a retired accountant with the National Guard in Augusta, Maine, in 1972, a member of the Chapel of All Faiths Church in The Villages, the American Legion, Belleview, the Masonic Lodge, Augusta, Maine, the Odd Fellows, Augusta, Maine, and U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Beatrice A. Gilman of Lady Lake; one daughter, Donna L. Gilman of Acushnet, Mass.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandson. Beyers Funeral Home, Inc., Lady Lake. Funeral services for Russell Johnson Gilman will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 13, 2002) at Chapel of All Faiths in The Villages of Lady Lake with Pastor Arthur Harris officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday (Feb. 12, 2002) from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Chapel of All Faiths Building Fund, 1401 Paradise Drive, Lady Lake, FL 32159.
