Heinrich was a tanner by trade. He emigrated to America about 1895 and was married to Emilie Auguste Haase, known in American as Augusta Buehman. Augusta didn't like America very much and in 1908 returned with her sisters to Germany. Heinrich divorced Augusta for desertion and moved to Chicago, presumably to work in the meat packing business. Heinrich remarried a Louise Kramer c. 1920 in Illinois or Michigan. Heinrich retired to suburban St. Joseph, Michigan where he raised fruit. He died and was buried near Stevensville, Michigan.
