The Edmonson County native was a daughter of the late William Arthur W.A. and Mae Cowles and the wife of the late Roy Johnson. She was preceded in death by a sister, Marjorie Zulauf. She was a grocery store owner/operator and a member of Shadyland Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Garland Bird; two daughters, Deborah Johnson Graven (Lyndell) and Donna Johnson Roberts (Gary); a sister, Freda Fultz (Bob); one niece and three nephews and special caregivers from Home Instead Senior Care, Robbie Berry and Donita Elmore.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel, with burial in Brownsville City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Submitted by Anon (46945268)
