CHESAPEAKE - Clayton G. Fentress, also known as Elijah Omega Israfiel, of the 1400 block of Shady Tree Way, died December 23, 2006, in Chesapeake General Hospital. Born in Norfolk, he was a musician and a member of Revival Time Ministries. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his daughter, O'ngela Fentress of Portsmouth; father, Willie J. Fentress of Chesapeake; three sisters, Marva Lewis of Chesapeake, Sylvia Harrell of Norfolk and Cynthia Wilson of Georgia; three brothers, William Fentress (Becky) of Chesapeake, Robert Fentress (Kathy) of Norfolk and Michael Fentress (Sherritta) of Chesapeake; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Bethel Abundant Love Ministries, 4136 Nautilus Ave., Chesapeake, by Bishop James P. Moyler and Pastor Michael Fentress. Burial will be in the Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk. The remains will be ready for viewing from 3:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Carlos A. Howard Funeral Homes, Norfolk Chapel.
