Blount, Marvin Bernard, 89, of Varina, passed away, Monday, June 6, 2011. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Naomi Blount. Marvin is survived by his wife of 18 years, Thelma H. Blount; children, Betty Muoio and husband Lou, Donna D'Arville and husband Gene; grandchildren, Leslie Coxon, Jennifer Moreno, Nick Muoio, Amanda Wharton, Erica Chenault; great grandchildren, Braeden, Caedence, Ava, Benjamin; stepson, Bruce McNamee and wife Cathy; stepdaughter, Donna McNamee; step grandchildren, John B. McNamee, Warren "Bubba" McNamee, Jason McNamee, Shane Tomlin, Brandon Tomlin, Ryan Porter; step great-grandchildren, Lee, Aiden, Logan, Peyton, Bella, and Hallie. He retired from Aero Industries with 42 years of Service. The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm, Wednesday, June 8, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue where services will be held at 10 am, Thursday, June 9. Interment will follow at Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4240 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060.
