Again the death bell has pealed forth its' solemn knoll and in an instant death has taken from us Mrs. McBride, one whom all respected and loved. She was as well as ever and apparently enjoying good health late Saturday evening, but while all the family were sitting in the house, they heard a noise among the chickens. They all hastened out doors to ascertain the cause of the confusion. While out doors and while walking around in the yard, Mrs. McBride suddenly fell dead and before medical and arrived she was dead, heart trouble being the cause of her sudden and sad death.

The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Edwards at the house at 3 o'clock Sunday, where a large assembly of sorrowing friends had gathered. Mrs. McBride was forty-two years old and leaves a husband and seven children, who deeply mourn their loss.

She was a devout member of the Christian church and had been for eighteen years. The remains were laid to rest in the Franks cemetery.
