MRS. MEDIA AUSTIN JOHNSON
Mrs. Media Austin Johnson, 63, widow of Leslie B. Johnson, died Monday night about 10:15 while enroute to St. Thomas Hospital, Nashville. She had been in a local hospital for treatment of a kidney ailment for several weeks.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at 3 PM at the London Funeral Home by the Rev. Grant L. Jones and burial was in Lone Oak Cemetery.
She was a member of the Baptist Church.
The daughter of the late James W. and Frances E. Epps Austin, Mrs. Johnson was born in Maury County.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Floyd Moore of Pulaski, and Mrs. James McNatt of Shelbyville; four sons, Thomas A. Johnson of Pulaski, and, Dr. James J. Johnson, Leslie B. Johnson, Jr. and Ralph Johnson all of Lewisburg; one sister Mrs. James A. Turner of Columbia; four brothers, Charles H. Austin of Culleoka, and Will, John and James Austin of Ulan, OK.,
20 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
