George was the son of George Mesion Wolfinger and Thelma Marie White.

George served in Vietnam as a PFC in 'C' Company, 720th MP Battalion, 89th MP Group, 18th MP Brigade, at Long Binh Post during 1966-67. He was a recipient of the Bronze Star.
