Vallie Mae Jones, 62, of Chattanooga died Saturday, Nov. 2, 2002, in a local hospital.
She was a faithful member of Gospel Lighthouse Church.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rekendria Jones; son, John Wright; father, Crawford Wright; brother, Crawford Wright Jr.; sisters, Doris and Elaine Wright.
Survivors include her husband, Jim W. Jones; daughters, Autumn Webb, Cheryl (Kenneth) Smith, Marguerite Sandefur; sons, Darrell and Jim Jones Jr.; grandson, Santwan Wright; mother, Mary Wright; sisters, Mozella (James) Paris, Tawanna (Chris) Jones and Cotillyah Marsh; brothers, James (Andrea) Wright, Percy and Micheal Wright; mother-in-law, Willie Lawrence; a host of other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be 12:30 Friday in the chapel with Pastor George Saddler officiating.
Burial is in National Cemetery.
The body will lie in state Thursday after 12:30 p.m.
Arrangements are by Taylor Funeral Home.
