Mr. Long was born February 12, 1923 at Darlington and was a US Army veteran of World War II.
He moved to Miami six years ago after living at St. Joseph for several years. He worked as a truck driver for 30 years.
Survivors include a brother, Jesse Long, Kirkwood, two sisters, Nina Allen, Mount Pleasant, Texas and Juanita Lightfoot, Scottsdale, Arizona.
Services wil be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, with Harold Reaves, minister, officiating.
