Mr. Abbott, a construction laborer, died November 29, 2000, at the St. John�s Medical Center in Anderson, IN.
Born April 17, 1936, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Laken L. and Laney E. (Ruble) Abbott. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Alice Abbott.
He was a member of the Laborer�s Local #1112 Union in Munice, IN, Fall Creek Conservation Club, and N.R.A.
Survivors include his wife, Jessann (Phillips) Abbott, Anderson, IN; a daughter, Durinda M. Abbott, Anderson, IN; a son and daughter-in-law, James A. and Tamra Abbott, Frankton, IN; an adopted son and daughter-in-law, James L. and Kim Knight and their son Jonathon, Anderson, IN; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Posey and Mary Abbott and J.T. and Betty Abbott, all of Livingston; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Rosie Arney, Eula Adams, and O.V. and Cormel Morrow, all of Livingston; eight grandchildren, Amanda Abbott, Wendy Abbott, Hailey Abbott, Emily Lawrence, Samuel Lawrence, Marlee Lawrence, Laura Lawrence, and Daniel Clifford Lawrence.
