Born Friday, October 19, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Ed Rolin and the late Mary King Rolin. She was a member of First Church of Christ Scientist in Huntsville, AL.
She is survived by her husband Paul Van Manen of Ardmore, TN, son, Gerald Wayne (Patricia) Usery of Elkmont, AL, brothers, Bobby (Norene) Rolin of Prospect, TN, Joe (Deannie) Rolin of Prospect, TN, Dean (Diane) Rolin of Hampton Cove, AL and Stanley Rolin of Ardmore, TN, sister, Mary Yadack of Dell City, OK. granddaughters, Tracy (Danny) Hicks of Ardmore, AL, Becky (Dennis) Skinner of Elkmont, AL, Kerry (Chris) Morris of Prospect, TN, six great grandchildren, Chris and Mandy Hicks, Caitlin Sims, Tyler Skinner, Erika and Colby Morris, and two great great grandchildren Braxton and Brodie Sims.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Ed Rolin, Jr. and John David Rolin, sisters, Berdie Rolin Woodfin and Pauline Jones.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 23, 2011, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home Ardmore, with Eileen James and Bro. Richard Garland officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Prospect, TN.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
