ARTHUR, Wilmer C., age 84, of 435 Cherry Dr., passed away Tuesday,
survived by his wife Mildred, four daughters, Mrs. Velma Garwood, Mrs. Hazel Kratzer, Mrs. Dorothy Seibel and Mrs. Ruth Wade, two sisters, Mrs Lula Cordrey, Mrs. Mary Ertel, brother, Russell Arthur, 9 grandchildren and one great - grandson.
He was a retired Letter Carrier and co-owner of R&A Coal Co., former President of Board of Trustees and Trustee Emeritus of First United Methodist church, Past State president of Nat'l Assoc. of Letter Carriers and 50 year member of Gem City Letter Carriers, Member of Dayton Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite.
Service 2:30 p.m. Friday First United Methodist church with Dr. C. Willard Fetter and Bishop Paul M. Herrick officiating . Burial Memorial Park cemetery. Friends may call at the Carrigan funeral Home. Thursday 6-9 p.m. Masonic Memorial service at 7:00 p.m., Letter Carriers at 7:30 p.m. Mr. Arthur will lie in state in Church, 1 hour before the service with the Scottish Rite ring service at the church.
