Audrey Jean Mowery Pennell, of Marion, NC, entered into eternal slumber June 15, 2011, in Forest City. She was 87.

A native of Logan, OH, she was a daughter of the late Gould and Alta Mowery.

Audrey was a member of Spindale Advent Lutheran Church and was a homemaker.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Frederick Pennell; two sons, Frederick Eugene Pennell Jr of Marion and Michael Dale Pennell and wife Brenda of Moncks Corner, SC; two daughters Toni Lee LaBrie and husband Rich of Giltner, NE and Debra Ann Harris and husband Jim of Hermiston, OR; two brothers, Dale Mowery of California and Roger Brown of Newark, OH; eleven grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held June 18, 2011 at 11 AM at Spindale Advent Lutheran Church with Rev. Ronald Fink officiating. A graveside service will be held June 19, 2011 at 2 PM at Carolina Memorial Gardens, North Charleston, SC.
