We regret very much to hear of the death of Dr. S.B. Woody of Spring Creek. Dr. Woody will be greatly missed in that section of the county.

After undergoing an operation, for appendicitis Saturday morning at his home on Spring Creek, Madison County, Dr. S.B. Woody died. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. J.W. Burnett, president of Carson-Newman College. Survived by his widow, and two sons, Roy Woody of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Hardy Woody, a senior at Carson-Newman; and one daughter, Miss Bonnie Woody, assistant principle of Fairview School.
