Sara was a beloved school teacher who never married. Her sisters Rebecca and Lizzie were also school teachers and never married.

They owned and lived together in the house next to the Deery Inn in Blountville, Sullivan County, TN. After her sisters died, Sara moved across the street to live with her nephew in the log cabin which she also owned. The log cabin is now an historic landmark, known as the Anderson Townhouse.

The 3 sisters are buried side by side. They are my GG Aunts.
