Marjorie Somers Elliott, 69, of Kilmarnock went home to be with her Lord September 29, 2006. She was the widow of Howard Beagle and Ralph Elliott and a retired U. S. Postal Clerk.
Surviving are a sister, Joan A. Parker of White Stone; sister-in-law, Ella Jo Somers of Lively; step children, John and Cathie Elliott and Robin and John Haas all of Northern, Va.; step grandchildren, Jay and Leslie Haas; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and her beloved cat, Jerry.
Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Sunday, October 1 at Maple Grove Baptist Church, White Stone with Rev. Richard Newlon, Dr. W. Dennis Martin and Rev. Thomas Taylor officiating. Interment was in White Stone Baptist Cemetery, White Stone. Pallbearers were Wayne Powell, Andy Powell, Mat Ficklin, Neil Price and Eddy Akers.
Memorials may be made to Maple Grove Baptist Church, White Stone.
