WILLARD – Jerrold Lynn Torgeson, age 52, lost his courageous battle with pancreatic cancer on Monday, June 6, 2011.

Jerry was born on June 18, 1958 in Bremerton, Washington, a son of Roy Robert and Norma Dee Torgeson.

He married Karen Lynn Marshall on June 26, 1989. His crystal blue eyes and contagious smile will be missed by everyone who ever met him.

Jerry was the first Booshway for the "Willow Creek Free Trappers" and proudly earned his mountain man name of "Many Grimace". He loved going to Rendezvous and competing in black powder shoots, with uncles and friends. Jerry's uncles always treated him like a brother.

He started building homes with his father when he was very young. Later brother Brian joined them. They built many homes in northern Utah, they were very proud of each one.

Surviving are his wife, Karen, children: Clarissa Dee, R.J. (Roy James) and step-daughter Krystle Nichols, his parents, sisters: Ruth (Ken) Ormond, Sandra (Rick) Sacco, brother, Brian (Karlianne) Torgeson. Along with many other family members and add-a-kids.

Funeral services will be Friday, June 10, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Willard 4th Ward Chapel, 80 N. 100 W., Willard.
Family and friends may call on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City and on Friday from 10:00 to 10:40 a.m. at the Church.

Interment will be in the Willard Cemetery.
