these, one boy and two girls preceded the mother to the other shore. In the year 1877 the family came to Ohio and move to Sulphur Springs which place they made
their home since then. The departed had been ailing for years, but was very sick especially in the last year and a half. She suffered greatly at times but seemed to be getting better this spring, until the beginning of last week when she began to fail rapidly. She was liked and respected by all who were acquainted with her whether old or young many hearts outside of the family circle are sad
over her departure. There are left to mourn her loss the sorrowing husband, three sons, George and Louis of Sulphur Springs, and Walter of Detroit, Mich.; five daughters, Mrs. Heibertshausen of New Washington, Mrs. Sexauer of
Lancaster, O and Mary, Tillie, and Minnie of Sulphur Springs, 10 grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Zerbe of Sulphur Springs, and Mrs. Rosnegarter of Pottsville, Pa. She brought her age to 71 years, 4 months and 21 days. Funeral services were held on Friday morning at the home of departed at 9 o’clock and at 9:30 in the Ev. Lutheran St. Pauls church north of Sulphur Springs where she had
always been a faithful member. Rev. Ph. Dielemann officiating.
