Services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 27, at Wesleyan Church with the Rev. James "Bo" Parris and Ray Kinsland officiating.
Burial was in Arch Family Cemetery. Pallbearers were friends and family members.
A native of Cherokee, he was a son of the late Sarah Reed Arch and Horace G. Arch. He served in the U.S. Army for 19 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Stark Arch; one infant son, Charles Arch; four brothers, Roger Arch, Fred Arch, Clayton Arch and Treannie Arch; one sister, Catherine Larch; and one great-granddaughter.
Surviving are four sons, James Arch, Fred Arch, Bugger Arch and Bill Arch, all of Cherokee; one daughter Christine Montano of Cherokee; three sisters, Annabelle Marmon, Theresa Rattler and Vangie Laney, all of Cherokee; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
