Horace W. "Bud" Evans, 92, of Camp Hill, passed away Friday, June 3, 2011, at his residence.

A WWII Navy Veteran, he was retired from the United States Geological Survey.

He was a member of Pine Street Presbyterian Church, Harrisburg, its Westminster Sunday School, and formerly an Elder of the church.

He was born September 23, 1918, in Chestnut Hill, to the late Horace C. and Eleanor (Wolf) Evans.

He was the widower of Evelyn D. (Dougan) Evans and also preceded in death by his son, Craig.

He is survived by a son, Scott W. of Coatesville; a daughter, Janice C. Evans of Newberry Twp.; brother, Owen Evans of NorthWales, PA; two sisters, Mary E. Follett of Baldwinsville, NY and Jean E. Eaton of Lancaster; and a granddaughter, Kelly M. Evans of Columbia, SC.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m., until the Memorial Service at 11 a.m., Thursday, at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland.

Interment will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park.
