Margie F. Absher Callaway, age 69, of Bridgeville, DE passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her home. She was born on July 1, 1941 in Trap Hill, NC, daughter of the late Claude and Rachel Billings Absher.

She will always be remembered for her ability to bake the most amazing desserts including blueberry pies, strawberry pizza, and chocolate pie. She will also be remembered for her love of family seafood cookouts and for sharing baby clams with her granddaughter Courtney. In her younger years she loved to go to the beach to tan and look for shells. MomMom also loved to go to Dover with her granddaughter Dana for Papa John's Pizza, coffee from the Coffee Beanery, and the latest trends in Woolrich at Boscov's. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose laughter and carefree personality could bring a smile to everyone's face.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Callaway, a daughter Sabrina Callaway/Hoyer, a brother Travis Absher and sister Joan Wynes. She is survived by two sons: Terry Callaway and wife Mary and Jerry Callaway and wife Mary Ann, all of Bridgeville, DE; her daughter Tina Enfield and husband James of Milford, DE; grandchildren: Jennifer, Jerry, Dylan and Tabitha Callaway, Dana Hoyer, and Courtney Enfield; great-granddaughter Sydne Repman; and a brother David Absher.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday May 10, 2011 at 2 PM at the Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Hardesty Chapel, 202 Laws Street, Bridgeville, DE where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will follow the services at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Seaford, DE.

In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to American Diabetes Association, 100 West 10th Street, Suite 1002, Wilmington, DE 19801.
