Funeral services for Mrs. Hattie McDonald Anglin, 93, Sylvester, were held March 11 at Providence Primitive Baptist Church under direction of Banks Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Barksdale and Elder Jack Lyons officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. She was a member of Ephesus Primitive Baptist Church. Death came March 9 at Worth Community Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Holt, she was born September 1, 1889, in Schley County but had lived in Worth most of her life. Her husband, the late Joseph Nathan Anglin, preceded her in death in 1976.
Pallbearers were James E. Powell, Victor Patton, J.B. Newell, and John Spence.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. O.L. (Mac) McCollum of Rt. 1, Sylvester; two sons, A.J. McDonald of Rt. 4, Sylvester, and Lewis Wright also of Rt. 4, Sylvester; nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
