Survivors include her parents, Billy Justin and Jacqueline Virginia Carter of Baxley; three brothers, Jacob Whalen, Blayne Carter and Blake Terry, all of Baxley; maternal grandparents, Martha and Mike Tomberlin; maternal grandfather, Tony Thompson; maternal great-grandmother, Virginia D. Craven; paternal grandparents, Cynthia and Randy Pearce, paternal grandfather, Billy Edmund Carter; and several aunts and uncles also survive.
Funeral services for Abbegail Cadence Carter were held at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Swain Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Rentz officiating. Interment followed in Midway Baptist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Casey Tomberlin and Kenny Carter.
Musical selections were rendered by Michael Thomas.
Arrangements were under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
