Mr. Champagne served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a master carpenter and retired in 1999 from Hutter Construction. In his free time he loved to fish.
Members of his family include his wife of 54 years, Shirley Ann (Baker) Champagne; 5 children, Linda Coile and her husband Tim of Browning, IL, Roger Champagne and his wife Dottie of Hebron, Louis Champagne and Richard Champagne, both of Suncook, and Daniel Champagne of Penacook; 7 sisters, Annette Cranston of Greenville, Theresa Schneider of Wallingford, CT, Jackie Glines and Marie Cusson of Pembroke, Julie Champagne of Allenstown, Margaret Rooney of CA, and Muriel Tracy of Auburn; 3 brothers, Marcel Champagne of New Ipswich, Paul Champagne of Pembroke, and Phil Champagne of Manchester; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
