Mrs. Jimerson Dies in Hospital---Rites Saturday.
Mrs. W.B. (Vennie Lee) Jimerson, 66, of Myrtle Drive died at 4 p.m. Thursday October 31, 1968 in a Jacksonville hospital after an illness of six weeks.
Funeral services for Mrs. Jimerson will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church where she was a member. Rev. Kenneth Flynt, pastor, and Rev. Henry Malone of Mineola will officiate.
Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery under the direction of Brown Memorial Home.
Mrs. Jimerson had lived here 26 years.
She was born in Rusk County September 5, 1902.
Survivors are her husband, W.B. Jimerson of Jacksonville; sisters, Miss Archie Allen, Mrs. Ophelia Clark and Mrs. M.B. Cleaver, all of Jacksonville, Mrs. Vera Bright, Irving, and Mrs. Gordon Hudspeth, Troup; three brothers, Mack Allen, New Summerfield, Bill Allen, Tyler, and Charles Allen, La Porte.
Pallbearers will be Gene Bailey, Bernice Bailey, Shelly Cleaver, Jimmy Cleaver, Scotty Cleaver and Glynn Allen.
