Funeral services for Mrs Nelson A. (Jessie) Kight will be at 2 pm Tuesday at Walker Funeral Home with the Rev Jerold Irvin in charge. Lois Moore will be organist and singers will be Mrs Shirley Larson and Mrs Marilyn Williams.
Casketbearers will be Dale Farrens, Harold Brooks, Earl Jones, Les Sims, Jim Androy and Jack Wilson. Burial will be in Memory Cemetery at New Market.
Mrs Kight died at West Heights Manor in Clarinda Saturday after several months of failing health.
Mrs Kight was born Aug 23, 1893, at Mound City, Mo, to Albert and Lucinda Guthrie.
In 1912 she was married to Dillion A. Webster. They had four children, Walter of Villisca, Dillion (Jr) of Azusa, Calif, Mrs Don (Mary) Jones of Shenandoah and Charles of Tooele, Utah.
In 1934, she married Nelson A. Kight. Their daughter is Mrs Robert (Darlene) new of Clarinda. She spent most of her life in this vicinity.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by five children, 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, two brothers, Paul Guthrie of Mound City, Mo, Floyd Guthrie of Oakdale, Calif, and one sister, Mary Gibbs of Wilcox, Mo.
