Thomas F. Morgan, who states birth as 9 Feb 1838 in Appling Co, has a CSA pension application on line. He says he enlisted in 1862 in Blackshear, Ga with Capt. Allen Strickland's Company of the 4th GA Cav. Then in 6 months he was transferred to Capt. Thomas Wiley's Co. H of the same unit. At the surrender, he was home on sick furlough.
