Mildred A. Tate, 92 of Brazil passed away August 18, 2006 at 12:30am at Southwood Nursing Facility.

She was born August 2, 1914 in Brazil, the daughter of Earl Friday Price and Mary Edith Watts Price. She was a member of the Berea Christian Church.

She was married to James L. Tate, and he preceded her in death November 13, 1982. She was a homemaker and enjoyed baking bread, making noodles, and homecooking. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Survivors include her two daughters and sons in law, Sharon and Ralph Butts of Gunnison, CO, and Sandra and Ron Timberman of Clay City; 5 grandchildren, Kendall Butts and wife Ingrid, Sheryl Butts, Dean Timberman, Troy Timberman and Ronna Timberman; great-grandchildren, Michaela Butts and Garrett Butts; a niece Mary Jo Penrod; a nephew Jimmy Dobson and wife Ruth; great nieces and nephews and other extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a sister Dorothy Lowdermilk; a special grandson Jimmie Timberman; and a special great-grandson Kodi Pipes.


Funeral Information
Services will be held Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at 3:00 PM at French Funeral Home with Pastor Howard Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Summit Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 – 3:00 PM also at the funeral home.

Donations Information
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Vista Care Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
