Mr. Cumbo was the son of the late Cologero "Charlie" and Catherine Randazzo Cumbo.

He retired from Chamberlain Ammunitions Corp., Scranton. He was a former member of St. Rocco's Church, Pittston.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers Angelo and Samuel Cumbo.

Surviving are his wife, Ruth Marie (Barnhart) Cumbo; sister, Jennie DeBella and several nieces and nephews.

He was cremated and ashes were given to his wife, Ruthie. He was later buried in a family plot.

Joe's wife, Ruthie, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2007 at the Wesley Village Home in Pittston, PA.
