Roger C. Laskey, age 72 of Hopper Road in Acton, Maine, died late Monday evening, September 5, 2005, at the Rochester Manor.
Born December 14, 1932, in Acton, Maine, the son of the late Crosby and Mildred (Saunders) Laskey, he was a lifelong resident there.
Roger was a United States Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict, having been stationed in Japan.
He had his own business, Laskey Construction Co. and he also dug graves in all the cemeteries in the local area.
Much loved by all, he is survived by his son: Roger C. Laskey, Jr. of Somersworth, NH and his daughter: Linda Laskey Hall of Lisbon, NH, his wife: Beatrice Lessard Laskey of Acton, Maine and also 3 children: Leo Lessard of Milton, NH, Norman Lessard of Milton Mills, NH and Linda Lessard Winters of Parsonsfield, Maine, 4 sisters: Clara McCann of Somersworth, NH, Rita Roberts of Acton, Maine, Polly Katwick of Milton, NH and Barbara Chambers of Holyoke, Mass., also many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.
Calling hours are Wednesday evening from 7-9 pm at Peaslee Funeral Home 24 Central Street in Farmington, NH. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2005, at the funeral home at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Rochester, NH.
