Mrs. Washburn died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2004, in Heber Springs, Ark.
Burial will be at Grandfield Memorial Cemetery under direction of Gray Funeral Home.
She was born Jan. 20, 1919, in Grandfield to Edward and Grace McConnell Day. She graduated from Grandfield High School in 1936 and married Wayne Washburn on Jan. 6, 1940, in Grandfield.
Survivors include two sons: Gary Washburn, Fort Worth, Texas, and Bill Washburn, Shawnee; two daughters: Sharon Williams, Heber Springs, Ark.; and Carol Ann Washburn, Stillwater; a brother, Clair Day, Grandfield; five grandchildren: Kimberly Sinanovic, New York, N.Y.; Mark Washburn, Denton, Texas; Michelle Finch, Fort Worth, Texas; Amber Johnson, Heber Springs, Ark.; and Kyle Washburn, Oklahoma City; and six great-grandchildren.
