Linda was a civil service employee who worked at Quantico Marine Base for over thirty years. Linda was a fun loving person who enjoyed the outdoors and enjoyed spending time with family and friends at the beach. She also enjoyed dancing.

Linda is preceded in death by her loving husband, Anthony J. Alvilhiera; her brother, Robert DeShields; sister Frances Dye and her mother Ethel DeShields.

Linda is survived by her two children, Tonya Henderson and husband Dan and Mark McCain; four grandchildren, Kyle and Jordan Henderson and Megan and Gavin McCain; three brothers, Raymond and Randy Dietzel and Walter DeShields; two sisters, Ann Sullivan and Betty Saville-Adams. She is also survived by her closest and dearest friends.

Linda you were truly loved and will be truly missed.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 22 from 6-8PM at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Home Stafford Chapel 186 Shelton Shop Rd, where a funeral service will be conducted on Monday, May 23 at 11AM with interment to follow at Quantico National Cemetery.
