Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Clear Lake for Doris A. Lietha, age 83, who died Monday at St. Benedict's Senior Community, St. Cloud. Rev. Peter Holm will officiate and burial will be at the Clear Lake Cemetery, Clear Lake. Friends and relatives may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Clear Lake and one hour prior to the services Saturday at the church.
Doris was born May 13, 1928 in Becker to Harry & Lillie (Goodale) Dahl. She married Harold Lietha on March 15, 1947 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Clear Lake. Doris worked as a bookkeeper, farmed with Harold and also worked with the Sherburne County Assessor. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Trinity Ladies Aid, LWML, and an AAL officer. Doris was a volunteer driver for Sherburne County and also a 4-H Leader. She enjoyed knitting, gardening and square dancing. Survivors include her sons and daughter, Dennis (Rita) of St. Cloud, Jerry (Karen) of St. Cloud, Tom (Pat) of Mankato, David of St. Cloud, and Bonnita (Tom) Bernhardt of Sauk Rapids; sister, Shirley Waldecker of Becker; 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Doris was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold on June 12, 2009; an infant son; sisters, Alice McCalla and Verna Bisson
