Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. in the Erickson & Brown Funeral Home Chapel for Louis John LaBorde, 88. Burial will follow in the West Side District Cemetery. Mr. LaBorde was born on Nov. 24, 1910 in Tres Pinos and passed away in Gilroy on Oct. 28, 1999. He was born on Quinsabe Ranch and was a cowboy for 65 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Oller LaBorde; and his stepson, David Smith. Mr. LaBorde is survived by his brother, his sisters, his step children, and by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and by numerous nieces, nephews and in laws. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 1 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and again on Friday from 8:30 a.m. to service time at the Erickson & Brown Funeral Home.
